Mission Statement

The Agua Caliente Gaming Commission shall protect Tribal Gaming Assets and ensure the honesty and integrity of the gaming operations conducted by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.

Purpose

The Agua Caliente Gaming Commission has primary responsibility for overseeing all gaming assets and to regulate on any gaming facility that is owned by the Tribe. The Commission is also responsible for issuing all employees license as required by the State. The Commission is comprised of several departments: Regulatory, Surveillance, Compliance, Internal Audit, Backgrounds and Licensing. The Regulatory and Surveillance departments work inside the gaming facilities to actively protect Tribal assets. The Compliance department ensures the business conducted at the gaming properties are in accordance with State policy. Internal Audit performs the checks and balances necessary to maintain accuracy in daily operations. Backgrounds and Licensing is the department in charge of employees, from the first background interview to gaming license assignment
